On budget is a promise, not a hope.
Foursquare was started by two site foremen who were tired of watching schedules slip and change orders balloon. Every project gets a fixed bid with a written allowance schedule, a weekly photo report, and one point of contact who actually swings a hammer. We're structured small on purpose: three crews, no more than six active projects, so the owners are on your site every week.

Common questions
How do quotes work?
Site visit, then a fixed bid with a written allowance schedule within 10 days. The bid is the price; changes only happen through signed change orders you approve first.
Do you handle permits?
Yes, all of it: drawings, submission, inspections. Permit fees are passed through at cost, itemized on your bid.
Can we live in the house during a remodel?
Usually yes for kitchens and baths; we build dust walls and keep one working bathroom. For full-gut projects we'll tell you honestly if you should plan to move out.
What if something breaks after you leave?
Two-year workmanship warranty. Call, and we're back within the week. It's in the contract, not a handshake.
